GEO Nudy Grey Circle Lens review from DBeautyShop.com

I was contacted by a representative from DBeautyShop.com, They asked If I would do a video review on their lenses (of my choice).

I went ahead and opted for their GEO Nudy Grey Circle Lenses because I just loved how it looked on their Model, and was hoping I would have a similar look and I wanted something different - since i had brown, dark gray, green and blue lenses.

It took 2 weeks to get to me which I was hoping I would get it faster that that, because of my experience from KoreaBigEyes. But They were totally worth the wait!

Here are pictures of the packaging:

The Contents of the package

Here are some pictures of the lens containers/bottles that it comes in and what they look like

And the FREE contact lens case that comes with each purchase:

And here are some pictures I snapped of my free sample/gift of the BB Cream:

WITH LENS

WITHOUT LENS

LOL Sorry, very unflattering angle of my eyes. I can't look at the camera, with it being so close, i ALWAYS come out lookin' crosseyed! :D

and remember i posted a video on how to open the circle lenses in their bottle cases on my last review? well if not here's the video - don't mind the subtitlte - it's just the same concept of opening it:

Here is My Video review on the lenses From DBeautyShop.com

Color: 5/5
Enlargement: 5/5
Comfort: 4/5
Overall Rating: 5/5
Overall, I absolutely LOVE these lenses. I actually think these are my new favorite pair! It's not too bright and quite natural looking (I know the pictures show they are real light, but they actually look really nice) In my video I said I liked the more "natural" looking ones.. LOL I meant I liked the gray/black ones more than like bright green/aqua blues etc... I love the enlargement because I love the Dolly-Eyed look! It's a lot more comfortable than any of my other pairs, which I LOVE - I had no problem using them, my eyes are normally sensitive - so that's why I gave it a 4, because they do dry the eyes out a tad because their water content is less than normal contact lenses.

I love how it looks on me, and how it kind of has a halo effect around my eyes! So yes - I LOVE THESE! I'd probably use these a lot more than just special occasions, maybe everyday! lol.. okay maybe not, but i'd surely wear these out often as they are not extremely noticable like my other pairs that I have.

My Overall experience with DBeautyShop.com was amazing. They were extremely polite and helpful. Like I mentioned in my video, their communication with me was awesome! Kept me in the loop through every step! Although the prices are a bit higher than what i've spent before, I definitely wouldn't mind spending the extra cash for these amazing lenses! totally worth the wait!

Thanks and I hope the video/blog was helpful! :)

Target Thursday.. upcoming Giveaway!!.. name change?! so muchh!

Yes! I did go to target after work, but I was sort of rushed since Hubby was really hungry while we went, and we decided to bring our youngest daughter Jasmyn with us.. So.. my time was cut short.. Not only that, but omg the place was flooded with people. I guess last minute shopping for V-Day! yikes! lol..

Anyway, the short time that I was there, i was able to quickly find these items because i've been desperately searching for a foundation that I like.. and heard all the rave about this on YouTube and Makeupalley so I decided to see for myself..

I didn't have much time to check the colors LOL (always sucks to be rushed).. so we'll see I got Medium Beige i think..

But here's picture of the stuff I got:

L-R -- Nude Attitude L/S, ColorStay Foundation, Mauve it Over L/S

This actually looked a lot better when I did a better job blending it in lol, sorry for the crappy application job LOL! but I like it!

I LOVE this one too! we'll see though, I Love it a little bit more than my NYX lipsticks that I have in this similar color because when I apply it, a little goes a long way.. not like the NYX ones, I have to put a lot on.. but that's just me.. still love all my lipsticks! Just need to actually use them! LOL

I'll give you all my thoughts and stuff on the other foundations/powders that i have.. when i get the chance.. i'm hoping i've found the one though! we'll see!

When I originally made my youtube channel - it was completely random and spontaneous.. and now i'm like hmm.. because I'm really not used to be called Khris lol.. it's either Khristine or Xtine (pronounced ex-TEEN).. so it kinda.. well not bothers me, just feels awkward for me LOL..

and was wanting to change my blogspot to randomnesswithXtine.. but it rolls off the tongue better as randomnesswithkhris.. *sigh* lol.. i'm SO indecisive with names LOL! Ask anyone that has known me - i am notorious for changing my online screen names a million times before it suites me.. What do yall think? Keep it? Change it? HALP! lol..

anyway - i think that's it for tonight! I'm pretty excited for this weekend - to be doing my DBeautyshop review on the circle lenses, and also my "neutral" look tutorial :) weee!

Any requests?

But on a brighter note, i posted on my twitter today (@RandomnesswithK) that As soon as I hit 100 Followers here on My Blog and a 50 subbies on my YouTube Channel.. I'm going to be doing 2 separate Giveaway products! :) I'm very much excited as i've reached 20 subbies so far on my Youtube page! :) So Please Spread the word! :)

alright Beauties! That's it for now!

Catching Up with stuff..

Sorry My posts haven't been all that interesting this past weekend - I've been pretty sick with Gastritis etc and so I haven't really been "all there" lol.

So let me just recap the weekend and everything a little bit more - and of course go over this week thus far.

Well I'll start over with Sunday - I forgot to mention that during the game, I went with my mom to this store in LA, i think it was called "Kim's Home Center" ... and i was just browsing around with her.. I love stores like this, they have all these neat and cute little gadgets for almost everything/anything you could think of!

Of course I didn't really see much I liked except these products. I don't remember where i heard of them, but the name sounded/looked familiar, and I was looking for a facial wash and decided to just try it out..

The brand is Kracie/Naive:

I got the peach and the aloe vera washes..

Had to get the matching Shampoo/Conditioner - just to try it out

They all smelled amazing! And I love that! lol.. But I did try out the peach facial wash, and i must say - it made my face feel super soft/silky afterwards.. As I was washing the soap off, i could feel my skin getting squeaky clean LOL.. it didn't burn my skin or anything - so I liked this one.. I am still going to get the Laneige facial wash though - because the samples that I had gotten, I finished and I absolutely loved how it removed my makeup completely! (which other soaps have a hard time doing)

Anyway - I forgot to mention about the time I went to Ulta.. I bought this facial cleansing sponge that I wanted to all share with you.. It's SOOO Soft! I love washing my face with this, it's not harsh and abrasive to my skin, and it gets in all the right spots (corners of the nose etc).. so this was awesome - luckily i bought 4 of them since they were like 1.50 each.. :) yay! this is what it looks like:

so yea, we just finished up sunday watching the rest of the game and hanging out with family.. lol that was that.. :) Here's a picture of my youngest daughter and I just chillin' - LOVE her "cheeeese" smiley face hehe

so next, I'll start with Tuesday..

I typically only work half-days on tuesdays, because I was hired for only 36 hours at my job.. i wish it was just the whole 40 hours sometimes, but I guess i'm really happy I do get that half-day to myself/kids/family etc.

My Package from DBeautyshop.com finally arrived! i'm so excited, but wasn't feeling well enough to do the review.. I'll save that for this weekend if possible.. but anyhow..

I wasn't feeling well so I just kinda slumped around at home.. But Towards the end of the night, the pain was just getting so severe that I couldn't take it anymore and I was actually in tears from it.. Sadly to say, I had no one to watch my girls so that I could go to Urgent care (since it was after 5 and the doctor's offices are usually closed).. and My hubby was working but wasn't answering the phone there.. so i was just writhing in pain at home.. while the girls were just going nuts LOL..

but Finally hubby called home and i was bawling cause the pain was just horrible.. and so they sent him home from work, so that he could take me to the hospital.. and glad he did.. they did some blood tests - which of course came back negative.. and diagnosed me with Severe Gastritis.. so i'm not supposed to eat anything greasy, spicy, no chocolate, caffeine.. basically anything good that i like haha.. ;)

And since they gave me Phenergan (for nausea) and Morphine (for the pain) injection.. i was knocked out most of today! so i slept all of today, and woke up only to eat crackers here and there, take some antibiotics from my last trip to the doctors lol.. but otherwise feeling better..

I'm going to be doing my video review on the circle lenses that I had got from DBeautyShop.com (they had asked me to do a video review if they sent me circle lenses).. I"m very much excited!

I also wanted to do another make-up tutorial.. so keep an eye out for that! ;)

Alright everyone.. till next time!

KoreaBigEyes.com Complete Review & Haul

So I'm very excited to announce to you all that the package that I was telling you about (well one of them) had arrived yesterday.. and i was SOO excited.

I don't know if you all remember my previous post "You Look like a Doll!".. was the first time i used/told anyone about the Circle Lenses..

So I had originally purchased the Big Brown DM23 & Neo Cosmo 4 Tones in Green from KoreaBigEyes.com .. They later asked me to do a video review for their company, and that they would send me a free pair. I chose the Hypersize Gray.. and loved the Neo Cosmo 4 Tones in Blue, I asked them to add it (I payed for that one).

So i'm going to be doing a review and haul on ALL of the lenses that I Own (all from KoreaBigEyes.com)..

But Firstly here are pictures of the package etc:

The package itself

The Contents of the package

The Free Contact Lens cases each purchase comes with

The Well Packaged Hypersize Gray Contact Lenses

The package that the Neo 4 Tone (Blue) Come in (it comes in a box, but i removed these from the box)

Then a real quick way to open your Circle Lens bottles (i know i was confused at first lol) so hope this helps, I recorded it really quickly - so please bare with me haha!

Here is the Review/Haul on the Lenses..

So here are some pictures:
Big Brown DM23

Color: 4/5
Enlargement: 5/5
Comfort: 3/5
Overall Rating: 3/5
Overall, these are great to enlarge the eye, without having a really bright color, it is very drying (for me) so the use of rewetting drops was a MUST for these lenses. But otherwise - it gives a great dolly-eyed look! and will probably use these on special occasions!

Hypersize Gray (My free pair i picked out)
(sorry i look like crap - this was the end of the day and all my make-up had worn off)

Both Eyes - NO flash (lol i look cross-eyed!)

No Flash - side view

With Flash

Color: 4/5
Enlargement: 5/5
Comfort: 5/5
Overall Rating: 5/5
Overall I love this pair, and these are one of my favorites thus far. It made my iris' large! and I loved the dolly effect. What i didn't like was, in flash or in bright areas, the color looks more blue than gray (to me at least), but that doesn't post a problem. It's one of the more natural colors, like barely wearing anything - and i like that for everyday use. This was pair was MUCH more comfortable than the above mentioned, so i'd probably wear this everyday!

Neo Cosmo 4 Tones in GREEN
(sorry i have barely any make-up on and it really does make a difference! ew!) but just to give you a general idea)

With Flash

Both No Flash

Color: 5/5
Enlargement: 4/5
Comfort: 5/5
Overall Rating: 4/5
Overall, These are super bright greenish colored, it looks like a very natural vivid green (if that makes any sense loL).. I know in my video i said it didn't make your iris size bigger, but in pictures and after wearing it and looking at the video, it does, but slightly.. I guess it's because it's a lighter color than the other two, so you can't see the difference as well. But these are very comfortable.. These are very brightly colored, so i'll wear them for special occasions.

Neo Cosmo 4 Tones in BLUE

Color: 5/5
Enlargement: 4/5
Comfort: 5/5
Overall Rating: 4/5
Overall this is my second favorite pair of circle lenses that I own.. Just like the Green ones, it's very bright and it's super exotic and something i'd wear to go out, or maybe everyday depending on what i wanna look like, but it's super comfortable, and really cute in person/pictures! i don't look like such a brown-eyed babe with these on! I Love them!

So overall my experience with http://www.koreabigeyes.com/ has been an absolute pleasure!
Lovely service...Extremely awesome prices...Protective packaging...Fast Shipping (TOOK 5 DAYS!!) (Depending on location but promises it will arrive within 2 weeks)

So if you like what you see, and now you know my secret! please tell them Khristine or RandomnesswithKhris sent you! :)

Thanks and I hope the video was helpful! :)

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY TGIF! yes yes yes! :)

(well technically i've got 30 minutes until it's "officially" Friday! but i'm just glad this week is finally over! It's been a stressful one indeed..

I am proud of myself for hashin' it out at the gym though.. I've officially remolded my gym schedule to fit Karen and I going together.. so.. it kinda looks like this:

Sunday - Gym 7AM
Monday - Gym 10:30PM
Tuesday - OFF DAY
Wednesday - Gym (YRG CLASS) 8:30PM
Thursday - OFF DAY
Friday - 5:30AM (for ME since Karen is going to her other dance class Friday evening)
Saturday - GYM 7AM

So i'm pretty happy about this.. :) I think it is important (and kind of nice) to have a buddy to workout with.. someone to motivate you at the same time inspire you because they try so hard, that it pushes you to try just as hard, if not harder! lol.. but of course it's a great way to get each other motivated to GO to the gym.. which was my biggest problem.. not the gym itself.. but just the getting to the gym lol..

But with this schedule, and me training Karen, i think i'll stick to this schedule.. YOU all have NO idea how excited I am.. i know in a couple of months of hard work at the gym.. we'll see some amazing results! (because unfortunately you will not see results overnight.. and even if you do - it's probably too drastic of a change and you'll gain it all back and some!)..

Remember - when you are at the gym or working out - it's NOT a competition (unless you are seriously training for it).. The person next to you does not care what you are doing.. and i'm sure you don't care what the person/stranger is doing either.. you are there for YOU - well that's how i put it!

i've been so busy with work and my girls and trying to fit in some studying - that i've had NO time to do any video's.. well I did try the other day but it was a complete fail.. LOL.. we'll see if i can edit it at all to be decent.. i'm not the best video editor.. heck i've only edited the video's on my Youtube page lol.. and that was hard enough!

but hopefully with MORE video's will come more video editing!... well hopefully this weekend i'll be able to post something new for yall.. i did get a request on my "everyday" make-up look.. and i thought that was easy enough - so i just might do that..

I am going to be doing a "January Fave Products of the Month".. instead of weekly - cause we all know I cannot keep up haha!

I wanted to let you all know within the next week or so (depending on when i get the products) I'm going to be reviewing some products from two separate companies that had asked me to do a video review - i'm SOOOOOOO freakin excited you have no idea! lol.. so yay! stay tuned for that as well!

ALSO - I had ordered some faux eyelashes like 18 days ago - and they have finally arrived! (doh! reminds me i gotta leave feedback for them on ebay lol).. and i'll have some pictures and show you what they all look like hopefully after work today or even this weekend... ;)

If you have any questions for me - feel free to ask - e-mail etc etc yadda yadda! anywho - it's bedtime for me cause i've got work in the AM!..

"You look like a Doll!"

So lately, I had been obsessing about Asian Beauty products and what not.. Ever since my cousin Hazel had visited us from Japan.. (she had a short stay here in USA before moving to Germany)...

My brother's girlfriend had told me about her Japanese beauty magazines that were filled with amazing/neat things that you wouldn't normally see here in the states. We were all so fascinated with the Asians "dolly/anime" look.. that we saw ways that they would do it, would be a different way they wear eyeliner.

I never saw the magazine myself, and My cousin left before I got the chance to see them.. but I was so intrigued at the thought.. that i searched everywhere on the internet and came across something interesting! after tons of "anime/dolly eye" make up tricks with wearing the liner differently.. or using a lighter color for the water line to make the eyes appear bigger.. i found that they use contact lenses!

i'm sure you're all like huh? what's the big woop-dee-doo about lenses? well.. let me show you!

My co-worker said I looked like a doll and my iris' looked HUGE!

What do you think?

So the difference between regular contact lenses and the Dolly/Circle Lenses are that they are wider or bigger in diameter so it covers more of the iris than the normal contact lens.. and also the outter part of the contact is rimmed black to give the eye the Halo effect, thus giving you a "dolly" eyed look!

After looking at ALL the pictures of these pretty girls with neat eyes (very popular in the Asian countries - Beauty is a BIG thing over there!)! (some were SO natural looking! others not so much) and so i was a bit skeptical ordering them online since you cannot find them in stores! And I was like - what if a look like a total goober LOL.. but I bit the bullet and said what they hey! You only live once! LOL.. so enjoy my photo's.. I randomly snapped them at work while it got slow towards the end of the day.. So excuse my eyes they are a little red (i took them off and on to let my eyes breathe - as your only recommended wearing the lenses for 6-8 hours max)..

I'm going to be doing a little mini review on my youtube channel (will post it here!) So keep an eye out.. I guess i'll wait til my little girls are sleeping so I can record.. they keep either fighting with each other.. or doing silly faces in the background as i'm recording LOL.. so i'll just wait til their sleeping..

I'm excited to show you all! :) I still am going to do my video on my favorite beauty product/item[s] of the week - so keep an eye out for that as well!

Thanks for reading! :) Come back SOON! I'll update this randomly, yet often!
