FOTD :: Coral Delight

Sorry for the cheesy title LoL! but today was just that, mainly coral colors.. thought i'd add the lovely pop of color on the waterline for some fun! I'm not used to, not wearing black eyeliner all around.. but thought it was a great change! Let me know what you think!

FACE:

Korres Face Primer

Stila One Step Foundation in Tone

MAC MSFN in Medium

CHEEKS:

MAC Light Over Dark Mineralized Duo Blush

MAC By Candlelight to highlight only

EYES:

MAC Blanc Type eyeshadow to highlight

MAC Coral Eyeshadow all over lid

MAC Handwritten on outer corner/crease area (very, very lightly)

Flirt! Lash-a-delic Mascara in Black

FLirt! Look of love eye pencil in Bluephoria (on lowerlashline/waterline area)

LIPS:

Maybelline color sensational "The Pearls" collection lipstick in Coral Gleam

Application Steps:

Eyes:

(Totally forgot to wear any primer/base - as i originally thought i was not going to wear eyeshadow today)

I Took a regular fluffy eyeshadow brush, picked up some Coral e/s and placed it all over the lid just a little bit above the crease. I then took a blending brush and applied very lightly handwritten e/s on the crease and outer corner and blended it out very well.

I then took a Fluffy brush and applied MAC Blanc Type e/s to my highlight/browbone area and blended any harsh edges.

I then applied my eyeliner only to the lower lashline. II then Curled my eyelashes and applied the mascara.

FACE:
I used a MAC 109 Brush to pick up some Stila One Step Foundation and buffed it into the skin (a little goes a long way). I then Applied MAC MSFN with a MAC 134 brush.

CHEEKS:
For Blush I used the ELF Studio Blush brush and applied MAC Light Over Dark on the apples of my cheeks and then just continued from the cheeks upwards to the temples. I then applied with that same brush (on the other side) MAC By Candlelight MSF just to the cheekbones

LIPS:
Just applied Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in Coral Gleam

Flirt!It Girl of the Month!

So I posted awhile back that I had won some goodies for being FLIRT!it Girl of the week.. well I just so happened to get an e-mail not too long ago that I had been picked to be May's FLIRT! It Girl of that Month! so it is a bit late that i'm posting this, but wanted to let you all know the goodies that i received! and how truly thankful I am for winning such a prize (because i normally don't win anything - so i've just gotten lucky!)

So I was pretty excited when I received my package! I've been able to use a few items, and i will tell you - this brand is amazing! The blushes are so nice, sheer and very wearable. the eyekohls are very pigmented when i swatched them on my hand, will test them out tomorrow on my waterline to see it's lasting power. My favorite mascara is the Lashadelic! it's awesome! 

I was a bit bummed that the perfume did spill out a bit and all over the box.. but there's still a lot of product to use. From the smell, it's a light and summery scent. very girly and flirty! 

I like the products so much, that i'm probably going to do some swatches and reviews for the products later on (my own will!) :) hope you enjoyed me sharing my new goods with you all! You should follow them on twitter - they have amazing giveaways weekly!

FLIRT! it Girl of the Week! :: Review/Swatches

Oh My gosh! Am I really excited to tell you all about this! I actually won Something online! LoL! okay - so yes, I rarely ever win anything - and usually if I do, something always comes up! So, on twitter, FLIRT! Cosmetics (@FLIRTItGirl) - which if you are not following them - YOU NEED TO! they post so many chances to win items! 

They happened to tweet:

"want to be a FLIRT! It Girl and win $75 worth the cosmetics? Reply with a twitter picture of your best makeup look"

And I did, I thought, what the heck, why not! so i tweeted them a picture of me.. and low and behold a few days later I get a direct message from them saying I was the FLIRT it Girl of the week and to claim my prize! I was like - OMG! really!? so of course as soon as i found out, i immediately responded.. and was contacted by sweetheart Nora! she was such a pleasure to speak with!

A few days later I got a box on my doorstep (don't you love getting goodies when you get home from a long and hectic day of work?!) and to my surpise.. I Just knew!! :) You have no Idea how thrilled I was!

FLIRT! it Curl - Lash Curling Mascara

Lipglosses (L-R): Moonlight Spice, Plum Delicious, Twisted Berry, Zippy Ginger, Cherries Jubilee

Swatches: Sorry My camera totally washed out the colors.. I had other Lip swatches, but since my camera is major poop, the colors are all just looking the same..

Moonlight Spice :: Extremely fruity Smell (which i LOVE!)

It's a clear gloss, that has a hint of shimmer - that you can barely tell. It gives my lips a nice dewy look, makes it look natural. It's not sticky, and not heavy/cakey feeling on the lips, like some MAC Lipglasses. 

This had more of a plumy/chocolate smell to it, very sheer plum colored. my lips are pigmented as it is, so

this sort of just made them stand out just a tad bit. Lovely color to wear alone.

this also has a lovely smell to it - candy like. The colors are so sheer, but this one is a bit more color to it than moonlight spice and a lot more shimmer on my lips.

Also great smell, still sheer, but more darker color than the rest, still great to wear alone. This reminds me of MAC Lavender Whip or Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Lilac Pastelle. Very pretty and unique color!

This one is very cherry colored, but still sheer. Great to just use to add a hint of color on the lips. No shimmer, but has amazing shine! 

My overall thoughts on the lipglosses are they are all such sheer colors, which are great - you can wear them alone for an everyday look/something simple and subtle.. or you can layer them over your favorite lipsticks! they smell amazing. they aren't sticky whatsoever - which i'm a big fan of! A few of the glittery ones, i can do without, but i definitely see myself using them! especially during the summer days ahead at the beach! They do last quite a while - so that's definitely a plus! The thing I love about ALL the lipglosses are that they are very moisturizing almost like a chapstick! So i'd defintely pick up some more of their lipglosses and recommend them to anyone who is thinking about their lipglosses!
